NCNCARegistration: Online registration is now open at and closes Wednesday, May 28th at 11:30pm PST. Service fee will be added electronically. Entry fee for second race (on same day) is $15. Same day registration add $10 late fee. NO REFUNDS. Chip Timing provided by Time Your Race!  All racers must bring HELMET to REGISTRATION for timing chip application.  Registration opens at 6:30am and closes 20 minutes prior to your start time!

USA CyclingRules: Held under USA Cycling permit. Race held rain or shine. USA Cycling license required. One-day and annual licenses will be available for purchase at the race for Elite 5 men and Elite 4 women.  This is an Omnium consisting of two races – The Loomis Basin Sierra de Montserrat Circuit Race on Saturday May 31, and the Auburn Downtown Criterium on Sunday, June 1. You may enter one or both races.  The above categories and times are the same for both days (except for the Kids Race, which is on Sunday only).

Race prizes: $5,100 TOTAL. Day One Circuit Race $1,700 (Merchandise except Mens Pro 1/2 paid in Cash); Day Two Criterium $1,700 (Merchandise except Mens Pro 1/2 paid in Cash); Omnium $1,700 Cash!  Amounts by category the same as each of the two days except in cash.

Omnium Scoring: Racers competing in both races are eligible for the Auburn Omnium overall. The Omnium will be scored according to USA Cycling standard scoring, with 1st to 15th places respectively in each race: 25, 20, 16, 14 ,12, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. The Auburn Downtown Criterium placing will be used as the tiebreaker.

Day One – Please note major changes to course parking and start line.

Course: The Loomis Basin Sierra de Montserrat Circuit Race is a rolling 1.3-mile loop featuring two short climbs, fast downhill sections, a European-style roundabout, and a hilltop finish on excellent pavement. Race start is on Rutherford Canyon Road near intersection with Sable Ridge Court (CHANGED FROM LAST YEAR). Proceed west on Rutherford Canyon Road to the roundabout at the bottom of the hill near Montserrat Lane, full circle through the roundabout and back eastward uphill on Rutherford Canyon to the first intersection with Sable Ridge Court, right turn at Sable Ridge, looping counterclockwise back to Rutherford Canyon Road, left turn at Rutherford Canyon westward down the hill and through the roundabout again. Finish is on Rutherford Canyon Rd at the top of the hill where the gradient levels off, same place as last year. Registration area and course access are on Rutherford Canyon Rd off Laird Road (CHANGED FROM LAST YEAR).

Parking (CHANGED FROM LAST YEAR): Racers and visitors, please do not park on Barton Road or Wells Avenue, no access to race venue from those roads. Rutherford Canyon Rd will be closed to traffic from Barton Rd to Laird Rd. Parking access is on Laird Road. Follow signs on Laird Road to parking (continue on Laird around the roundabout and parking will be on your right).


From I-80 Eastbound take Sierra College Blvd exit, right turn (southward) on Sierra College Blvd, approx 1 mi to Rocklin Rd. From I-80 Westbound take Sierra College Blvd exit, left turn (southward) over the freeway and follow Sierra College Blvd to Rocklin Rd. At Rocklin Rd, Left turn (eastward) proceed approx 0.8 mi to Barton Rd. Right turn (southward) proceed approx 0.2 mi to Wells Ave. Left turn (eastward) proceed approx 1.3 mi to Laird Road. Left turn (northward) proceed approx 0.7 mi to intersection of Laird Rd and Rutherford Canyon Rd. Use 7106 Rutherford Canyon Rd Loomis CA 95650 as target address. Follow signs and parking assistants on Laird Rd (you'll go straight on Laird Rd around the roundabout to parking area on your right).

Day Two

Course: The Auburn Downtown Criterium is a technical hilly 1.1-mile loop through Auburn’s downtown area with its many fine shops and restaurants. Start in front of Victory Velo Bike Shop (835 Lincoln Way, 95603), proceed north on Lincoln Way, turn right onto Route 49 (Golden Chain Highway), turn right onto Borland Ave., right on Brook Rd., right on Cherry Ave., left on Magnolia Ave., right on Hillmont Ave., right on Lincoln to finish on the uphill section past Cleveland Ave. Registration tent it at the intersection of Cleveland Ave. and Lincoln Way.

Parking: Ample parking is available in Downtown Auburn in many public parking lots.


From I-80, take the Elm Ave. exit and head east to High St., turn right on High St., then left on Cleveland Ave. to reach the course.
